No saves. No reloads.
The server holds the world. A lost ship stays lost and a bad trade stays bad. Log off and your fleet keeps flying its orders, and anyone can still find it, so think about where you park.
Multiplayer mod for X3: Albion Prelude
You know this universe. Now you share it. Other pilots trade on your routes, fight in your sectors and declare war on your race, and the galaxy keeps running when you log off.
// Multiplayer
Your flight hours still count: ships, wares, routes and sector names are the ones you know. What changes is that you are no longer the only player in it.
The server holds the world. A lost ship stays lost and a bad trade stays bad. Log off and your fleet keeps flying its orders, and anyone can still find it, so think about where you park.
Every player is a race. Offer an alliance, declare war, make peace. Your ships and stations follow your diplomacy.
Thousands of server traders and every player feed the same station stocks. One stock exchange for everyone.
SETA speeds up your ship, not the universe. Everybody else keeps flying in real time.
Xenon fleets and Kha'ak clusters hit random sectors. Whoever is online shows up, or doesn't.
Fight missions belong to your race. Every member's kills count toward them, so bring friends.
Open a channel to a player's ship: talk, hand over wares or credits, swap maps, demand a surrender.
Pirate traders fly a borrowed flag. Once the police catch one, every pilot sees it for what it is.
The server's live map shows every sector. Log in with your character and give your ships orders away from the game.
// Live map
The server's own map: every sector, every ship and every pilot online, live. Open a sector, or log in with your character to command your fleet.
This is where the universe shows up once it runs.

They stay in the universe. Your ships keep their orders, and the ship you flew finishes its autopilot order and waits. Other pilots and NPCs can still attack them, so park somewhere safe.
